Among others, the types of substrates you can bond to include:

  • MDF

  • Plywood

Additionally, TensorGrip® LP64 is engineered for permanent and lifetime guaranteed bonding of materials where high grab and superior bond strength are required.

Foolproof Formula for Flawless Gloss Laminate Bonding

The Tensor Platinum range has raised the bar on quality and finish, offering you the opportunity to achieve a flawless finish every time.

Admittedly, it’s a delicate job, but our guide below breaks down the process to take the mess and stress out of the procedure.

Step 1

Coat your adhesive around the perimeter of the panel and your laminate.

Step 2

Wait 10-20 seconds until touch dry.

Step 3

Apply a light prime coat to your substrate.

Step 4

Spray your adhesive approximately 6” – 8” from the surface with swift movements and 75 per cent overlap with each pass.

Step 5

Wait 3-5 minutes.

Step 6

Place your laminate carefully onto your core substrate.

Step 7

Apply sufficient pressure with a 75mm laminating roller, working from the centre of the panel to the outside edges, paying particular attention to ALL edges.
